CARE FOR GOLDENS
CARE FOR GOLDENS
We don’t raise Goldens. We CARE.
What follows are practices that we have developed through the years based on our own experience and knowledge. We constantly learn new things and encourage you to add your own science to the best. The care you provide depends on the lifestyle you want with your Golden. You can compare notes with other breeders and your connection with your dog. We are thankful to the multiple people that have provided us with support and advice. Thank you Tom, Shilo and especially Daniel. We thank our parents and kids for their presence and constant help.

3. FOOD & SUPPLEMENTS
ADULT DOGS FOOD
After 8–12 months we move from puppy food to adult or all-stage food. We recommend gradually switching from half/half to full portions. Some dogs need more protein; others need grains or fruits. We suggest you observe what your dog responds to best. See below for brands.

PUPPY FOOD
We feed our puppies up to six months with puppy food. Also, we promote free access to puppy food starting at three weeks until two months after weaning.
SUPPLEMENTS
Supplements are an important part of good food. We regularly give the three supplements shown below to improve the health of our Goldens.
